Established since the Institute’s inception, Mechanical Engineering Department stands as a pioneering force, providing cutting-edge education in the field. With a dedicated team committed to fostering excellence and innovation, we take pride in our role as leaders in mechanical engineering education.

PROGRAMS

1.    Construction Plant Option: Specialization in the Repair & Maintenance of Earth Moving Equipment and Construction Machines.
2.    Industrial Plant: Specialization in the Repair & Maintenance of Industrial Machines and Equipment.
3.    Automotive Engineering: Specialization in the Repair & Maintenance of Motor Vehicles.

All diploma courses are offered on a full-time basis, ensuring consistency in student evaluation. Our highly qualified staff guarantees equal opportunities for all students, maintaining a high standard of training.

Our programs encompass coursework, workshops, projects, field attachments, and industrial visits, fostering research and innovation among our students.

Each of our three-year diploma courses is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in mechanical engineering. Our graduate trainees are absorbed in the ministries, parastatals and private organizations. All this is aimed at meeting the institute’s Mission and Vision.
